Ever wanted to write a filesystem but didn’t want to muck around with the kernel? I do! I’ve taken Adam Cozette’s code, and rewrote most of it so that it compiles under C++. This would give me the ability to use true OO methodologies. Also, the benefit of the Boost library is truly handy. You can get my version on my GitHub page here. Basically you inherit from BuseOperations and change only the methods you want to override. In the two sample programs, I’ve only given a simple loopback and a RAM based system. Try it out! Make changes! Send me a pull request or comments.
