Ever since I’ve bought my car, I’ve been keeping track of the MPG for statistical purposes. I wrote down the miles travelled, amount of fuel purchased, gas price, and time+date every time I filled up the car. I’m a 31 year old married male. I live in NH, so there’s not much city driving. The car is a manual transmission and I do engine braking when coming up to a red light. I tend to drive the speed limit, and don’t do aggressive accelerations. On paper, the car gets 24MPG City / 31MPG Highway. So it’s pretty close to reality.
My hypothesis was that during the summer, I’d get noticeably better mileage. I can’t say that’s the case.
